Work it out

Before anyone builds anything, it’s worth knowing what would actually help. I spend half a day looking at the whole business, then give you an honest plan: what to fix first, roughly what it costs, and what you don’t need. Sometimes it’s a website. Sometimes it’s a whiteboard.

What I look at

The whole business, not just the website.

What customers see

Your Google listing, your website, your social pages and your printed stuff, looked at the way a customer would. How easy is it to find you, trust you, get a price and book?

Local prices and competitors

What others nearby charge, how they show up, and what they do well. So your prices and your offer are based on facts, not guesses.

How the work flows

From the first enquiry to getting paid: quotes, bookings, jobs, invoices, stock and paperwork. Where things get stuck, typed twice or forgotten.

What you get

An honest plan, in plain English.

Written down, so you can read it again later, act on it yourself, or take it to someone else.

  • The few things that would make the biggest difference, in order
  • Roughly what each one costs
  • What you can do yourself, for free
  • What you don’t need, including anything you could stop paying for

Estimate

What it costs

An estimate, not a quote. You get a fixed price in writing before anything starts.

Work it out: a look at the whole business

£150

  • Half a day on the whole business: what customers see, local prices and competitors, and how the work flows
  • An honest plan in writing: what to fix first, roughly what it costs, and what you don’t need
  • It comes off whichever packs you go ahead with. The plan is yours either way

Questions

The things people ask

How is this different from the free quick review?

The quick review is free and looks from the outside: your Google listing and website, the way a customer sees them, and the three things I’d fix first. Work it out goes further: the whole business, including how the work flows behind the scenes, and it ends in a written plan.

Do I have to use you for what comes next?

No. The plan is yours. If you go ahead with me, the £150 comes off whichever packs you choose.

What if the answer is “you don’t need anything”?

Then that’s what I’ll tell you. Sometimes the right fix is a whiteboard by the door, an app you already pay for set up properly, or simply stopping something that isn’t working.

Not sure what you need? That’s the point.

Tell me a bit about your business, and we’ll find a time.
